Jewish Political Studies Review

The Jewish Political Studies Review is the first and only journal dedicated to the study of Jewish political institutions and behavior, Jewish political thought, and Jewish public affairs. Published originally by the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, the JPSR appears twice a year in the form of two double issues, either of a general nature or thematic, with contributors including outstanding scholars from the United States, Israel, and abroad.

Post-Holocaust and Antisemitism

The Post-Holocaust and Antisemitism publication, initiated and directed by Dr. Manfred Gerstenfeld, includes conferences, seminars, research, lectures, interviews, and essays in English and French, focusing on anti-Semitism after the Holocaust and up to the present day – its origins and lessons, manifestations and mutations. This program has proven only too prescient with the return of anti-Semitism as a major issue of public concern.

Israel at War: Primary Sources

Perspectives on Israel at war – from the War of Independence to the Gaza War of 2012 – from those writing at the time, the primary sources of history.

Jewish Environmental Studies

In the past decades environmentalism has emerged as one of Western society’s major ideologies. Jewish environmental studies could encompass disciplines such as Jewish environmental history, Jewish environmental law, the environment in the Hebrew Bible and later classical Jewish texts, Jewish environmental thought, Jewish environmental ethics, the sociology of Jewish environmental activism, the analysis of external perspectives, and several others.

Survey of Arab Affairs

This periodic supplement to Jerusalem Letter/Viewpoints appeared between August 1985 and May 1996.

Jerusalem Letter

The Jerusalem Letter series, analyzing issues of Jewish and Israeli public policy, first appeared in December 1977. It was combined with the Jerusalem Viewpoints series beginning in February 1992.

The Center has published several publications and articles dealing with the topic of Jerusalem.

The Center has published several eBooks on various topics such as how Israel’s actions are firmly rooted in international law, or how the modern blood libel “Al-Aksa is in danger,” is nothing but a lie.

Programs

Black American-Israel Leadership Initiative

The Jerusalem Center’s joint diplomatic-educational PEACE-Promise project, which includes diplomatic missions to Africa and Israel, with the U.S.-based Institute for Black Solidarity with Israel engages young Black American and African leaders and influencers by educating and empowering them with political facts and historical context to combat antisemitism in the Black community and enhance understanding and cooperation between Blacks, Jews, and the Jewish state.

Arab-Israel-Africa National Security Partnerships

The intensifying threat posed by the Iranian regime to the security and stability of the Middle East and Western Asia has transformed former adversaries into new allies. The signing of the historic Abraham Peace and Normalization Accords in 2020 has created unprecedented cooperation between Israel and its Arab neighbors in the fields of national security and applied diplomacy as well as trade, high-tech, intelligence, infrastructure, and sustainability.

The Daniel Elazar On-Line Library

Daniel Elazar’s writings – his clarity of thought and perspective – have touched many people. Those who read his work often come away feeling that they have learned something new and valuable. Today, anyone can learn and benefit from the treasury of Daniel Elazar’s thought via the Internet. The Daniel Elazar On-Line Library, part of the Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs website, offer full-text versions of many of his writings, as a lasting memorial to the ideas he pioneered.

Major Knesset Debates

Dr. Netanel Lorch, a noted Israeli political and military historian who served for 12 years as Secretary General of the Knesset, selected and supervised the translation of the major Knesset debates dealing with the critical issues in Israel’s history from 1948 to 1981 in this classic six-volume work.

Homeland Security Portal

The Homeland Security Portal contains articles from 2006-2020 as well as articles that had been included in Daily Alert.
