Foreign Minister Eli Cohen welcomed Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs President Dan Diker, Senior Director of Arab Affairs Aviram Ballaishe, and JCPA Director of African Affairs Gadi Ivarkan at the Minister’s Bureau.

The JCPA team presented an analysis to the Foreign Minister of its wide-ranging relationships in the Arab world and Africa that followed the watershed JCPA conference in March 2023 that brought 30 African and Arab countries to Jerusalem including Arab and African states without diplomatic relations with Israel.

Cohen agreed with Diker’s proposal that JCPA and the MFA cooperate on various levels in regional communications initiatives, outreach to Arab and African partners, and other regional states to widen the Abraham Accord’s circle of normalization.
