On January 16, 2023, a delegation of Ethiopian diaspora leaders met at the Jerusalem Center for a roundtable discussion. The delegation included leaders of the Ethiopian American Civil Council (EACC), Ethiopian business leaders, and a founder of the Ethiopian and Eritrean Friendship Forum. The EACC is an independent, non-partisan civic organization with 750,000 members in the United States, home to some two million Ethiopian Americans. Topics discussed included food security; Israeli technology, economy, and investment; Ethiopian historical connections to Israel; and the need for cultural exchange and education.
